WEBISODE 1 - DEATH BECOMES HER

Okay, so who left her in charge. Let's see, we'll go with blue jeans, red tank top, but damned if I'm going to give up the leather jacket Janey muses to herself. So thinking, so her outfit changes.
As she lifts the cooler, she discovers it weighs a bit more than she thought.

"Good god mum, what did you pack in this thing. Everything in the kitchen, plus the kitchen sink. Okay people, once Jamal's got the suit on let's get to the van before I give myself a hernia. Just think of a fashion, Jamal, and so it will be. Stick to blue jeans, a shirt, and jacket for now"

After Jamal gets ready she hefts the cooler and heads for the lot. Once there and with the cooler situated in the back of the van, it's time to take a look.

"Let's see, for munchies we have sandwiches, sushi, veggies, fresh fruit, and brownies. For drinks we have water, lemonade coke, RED. Love you mom. Oh, and it looks like fruit punch, that's not fruit punch. O negative, the universally acceptable drink. Hey Cricket, we even have bendie straws for you"

"Hello, Babadora, Silver. If you'd like to come with us, I don't see a problem. I'm sure we've got enough snackies to go around. Besides, there are no better people I'd have on my sixes than you. And if we're already to go, let's hit the road

the 15 year old changes into the provided uniform and returns walking somewhat shyly "Are all the uniforms this skin tight?"

Hearing Janey's instructions Jamal begins concentrating on his desired street clothes while still creatively covering...

Wednesday May 13th 2009, 8:58pm -9:09pm - Allan's house Downtown - Jacob (Allan's Friend)

Twenty some odd minutes after calling for a taxi, the blue and white vehicle pulled up out front "Don't worry bro I got this one" Jacob stumbles into the taxi mumbling "take us to the party, man. Gage park and quick" while still clutching his beer bottle.

The already frazzled looking cab driver seemed to reach another level of irritation upon seeing the bottle "No sir, no alcohol in my cab. Its bad enough I gotta shampoo my car after carrying you drunks, either the beer goes or you call another taxi"

Jacob threw the bottle out the still open car door, barely missing gewy's head "hey relax buddy its all good"

After the rest of the group piled in the taxi driver, still cursing under his breath, began weaving through traffic.

Wednesday May 13th 2009, 8:32pm-9:08pm - Main & Hughson - Gwen (PoI Entry)

Waiting at the bus stop Gwen could feel her excitement overpowering her fear. She was actually going to see Skylar in concert...

"Are you headed to the concert?" Gwen turned surprised to see that the gentleman was speaking to her, she found her eyes wandering across his body... he was about 5'10" with really intense dark brown eyes. Her eyes drifted down past his chest noting his athletic build, to his... She flushed turning away responding with a quick yes, she heard him take a step closer "Me too, but these buses are taking forever, I think I'm gonna grab a cab, do you want a ride?"

She knew she should say no, after all she had just met him 10 seconds ago, she didn't even know his name... but it was just a cab ride and they were going to the same place... She turned back to him still flushed but trying to seem relaxed "OK, why not?". His smiled reassured her "Great" he replied before hailing a passing cab and opening the door "Here I'll take your back pack"

The cab headed east "My name's Gwen" she said holding out her hand "Kane, nice to meet you Gwen" a spark shot through her as he touched her hand sending intensifying the rush of emotions she'd been feeling. She lost herself in the small talk and flirting after that, interrupted only once when the cab had to pull over part way there as a guy on a monster bike - a huge three wheeled beast - went screaming down the street followed shorted after by a police cruisers with its cherries flashing and sirens blaring.

"Your on, give me a little bit" Rick turned heading off into the crowd "I've some debts to collect" after badgering some of his fellow officers and hitting a bank machine Rick once again finds Nicky "One hundred dollars as promised, bet you didn't think I was such a charitable guy"

8:25pm-9:07pm - Motorcycle Shop - Mutt

Mutt woke up shaking away the cobwebs as he rose and headed to the
washroom to clean-up. He'd been up all night working on that custom
bike order for Silver, finishing up the mechanical and ritual work. Coming
out of the shower he slowly got dressed, looking forward to tonights concert.
He opened the curtain to see if maybe there was enough time to drop off
Silvers bike before heading to Gage park before the crowds got to big, his
eyes widened as he saw that the sun had already set "I must have worked
on that thing all night AND DAY, she better appreciate it".

Quickly he threw on his boots and jacket, grabbing his keys as he armed
his system and headed out the door. There it was, built almost from
scratch - where possible he'd even fabricated the parts himself - three
wheeled and massive, if there were monster bikes this was there king.
Mutt straddled the bike and turned the key, its engines starting with a
roar. As he eased out of the parking lot Mutt saw the tangled mess that
was traffic and smiled, he could almost hear Nicky telling him he
couldn't make it. He took a breath and looked around trying to decide
the best route when he saw the cruiser, the officer having just got
back in with a fresh timmies in her hand, his smile grew wider "Why
not, main street all the way". He pulled on his goggles before
squeezing the brakes and twisting the throttle filling the air with
white smoke, his laugh could almost be heard above the roaring engine
as he released the brake and tore off down the street, catching a
little air as he jumped the sidewalk at the corner landing inches in
front of the squad car before speeding away. They next few blocks were
spent weaving through traffic and occasionally on the sidewalk trying
to maintain speed, it wasn't long before traffic began clearing a path
ahead of him though that probably had something to do with the cruiser
catching up behind him. He leaned lower over his bike a low chuckle
escaping from his throat, the race was on...

As the pursuit reached Gage park Mutt saw Silver and Babadora on the loaner
he'd given her following a company van, and then noticed Nicky speaking with
someone just inside the park. With a quick turn Mutt jumped the curb and
came to quick stop a few feet from Nicky and turned off the bike "Hey Nicky
did I miss anything?" he said with smile, lifting his goggles as the cruiser
screeched to a stop at the curb.

Bendy straws were cool thought Crickett as she peered into the cooler as Sunflower did the last minute check on the supplies. She did not wish to seem rude or ungrateful for she could be sent back to her room and be left home for the night; it had happened in the past with Grandmama!

“Okay Janey’s Sunflower Mom I can stay with you. Does Jamal have to too?” Kids rule number whatever <If you were on a leash get another leashed too because misery loves company>

She wrinkled her nose when asked if she had eaten and mmms thoughtfully. “I think I did, umm, if I didn’t can’t I grab a bite there? I have money I am sure the hot dog carts will be there and part of the proceeds from drink and food sales will be going to the food bank won’t it?” She giggles softly and pulls out her purse that looked like a dog with straps growing out of its back the zipper seam evident down its back. “Yes I have 100 dollars so I can get a Skylar sweat shirt and CD.

Putting back the money and zipping the fuzzy purse she clamber in the van taking her seat and doing up the seat belt. She looked at the others and started singing as they finally headed out to the park.

“A hundred bottles of blood on the wall, a hundred bottles of blood. Take one down and pass it around there will be ninety-nine bottles of blood on the wall”

Wednesday May 13th 2009, 9:12pm -Babadora- Gage Park

Silver had gotten them down to the park in once piece. She drove at a decent clip but Babadora didn't mind. The spring evening air that washed over her face as they drove was refreshing.

The crowds were surprisingly thick at Gage park she noted. Her eyes danced over the passing people taking in wide assortment of aura's most of them tinged with excitement. She did however keep her eyes open for aura's that belonged to others. It was always good to be observant.

However there was the issue of having to hunt down some cotton candy. She could see the vendor booth in the distance and it was one of those foods that despite being dead, she had never given up. There was something that was delightfully simplistic and joyful about eating cotton candy and it was only better if it was eaten on a stick while at an outdoor venue.

OOC: See anything or anyone usual ie aura wise be it emotionally so or due to the fact they aren't a normal mortal let me know pls.

"Don't stop them on my account," Nicky called out. "Mutt can't even spell consequence, let alone understand the meaning of the word. Hell, I don't even think arresting him would have much of an affect. He'd just use it as an excuse to write his name on the inside of a prison cell, because it's something he hasn't done yet. He lives by the eleventh commandment. It ain't wrong unless he gets caught."



Nothing on this end has been edited or deleted, repost if possible but still let me know whats wrong so I can hopefully take care of whatever the issue is.

OOC: I think I might have figured out what happened. I probably hit Preview, then, assuming I was looking at a Sent post, clicked home to check and see what other posts were new. This is a fairly close reconstruction....

Nicky shook his head and chuckled in genuine amusement. "Yeah, Mutt, I'll watch your bike." With luck I'll watch it get impounded "Hey Rick, if the nice officer wants to impound Mutt's bike or, you know, give him a ticket or arrest him, I can get you into the bandshell, probably faster than waving you badge would," he said, catching up to the cops. "It likely won't teach Mutt a lesson, though. I think his world would pop like a soap bubble if he thought about the consequences before he did anything. I'd say it was part of his charm but that would assume he had some kind of charm."

Almost there and the traffic is a lot lighter than I thought it was going to be. Good god, I spoke to soon.
“Jesus Cluney Frog” as she swerves to get out of the way of the three-wheel bike and its escort on the way to the park.
Damn, that looked like Mutt, and being chased by… a cop car? Okay, definitely Mutt, cause nobody found trouble like Mutt.
“Hope the swerve didn’t ruffle anybody too much. Da... Darn that Mutt, he’s going to kill somebody if he’s not careful, and with our luck, it’s not going to be himself. I hope that Cop chews his damn ass off, and damn, would I like to be there for that one.”
Her mom looks over at her, and raises an eyebrow.
“Okay, let me rephrase that, I hope the police officer has a chat with him about his rather rude behavior. Better way of putting it, Sunflower?” and she raises an eyebrow in her mom’s direction. “See I can do that to, just not as effectively. Maybe I should call Marion, cause he might need to get his arse hauled out of the fire”
Her mom looks over at her, and goes to raise an eyebrow.
“What, I said arse, not ass, so just give me a break, and we’re here, so let’s park and have some fun.”
The van pulls in next to Silver and Babadora, and people pile out.
“I wonder if they have cotton candy, and that homemade lemonade stand. Hey, Jamal, want to go on the great sugar hunt, and anybody else want to join in on the buzz? Does anybody want anything from the cooler, and Cricket, are you done with your juice box.”
The van is locked, when everybody is out and ready to go.


OOC: I will be keeping my senses open for anything not quite right. This is a great time and place for predators.

Wednesday May 13th 2009, 9:30pm - Kyoko Chyuu - Gage Park

Kyoko had gone through her usual protcol at these sorts of events and stopped by the beer tent, bought herself one over priced beverage to start the night off, and after downing it in true Irish spirit she headed into the crowd.

Not even tipsy but feeling a vague warm glow she easily spotted the small vampire of the group wandering through in her customary red tophatted ensemble. She reached out for the small girl's hand, as calling for her was no use in a crowd such as this. Grasping the cold fingers she smiled warmly at her when she looked her way, showing her it wasn't some creep grabbing on to her she pulled her over.

"Were you planning on getting closer?" She called over the music, her voice like a whisper amongst the noise.

Kyoko had to admit, Skylar certainly put on a show and her on stage charisma made you want to get right up front, but taking in Babadora's tiny frame she was worried the fragile girl might get jostled too close up. Really, what she wanted to do at the moment was dance. Her hips rocked slightly with the rhythem as she leaned in for Babadora's reply.
